Two more days at work - then a fortnight in California. I'm getting a bit over excited - the breweries on the list are immense....including Russian River. One night potentially includes a ZZ Top tribute band. I'll buy that after a few beers in the system. My Voodoo Doughnut is Lemon Chiffon Crueller Ale - as opposed to the version on the app. Massive pink bottle - winner! The beer is smooth and punchy with a surprisingly delicate lemon verbena undertone. Nicely sharp and refreshing - Mrs B has stolen some. Top stuff.

After my experience with the curious but somewhat horrific Rogue/Voodoo Doughnut's Maple Bacon Doughnut Ale - that tasted like doughnuts with one sip and bacon grease the next - I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It was a great dessert beer.
