Beer #1 of the four-pack of Raudonų Plytų Alaus Dirbtuvės. The beer is relatively cloudy, paler amber. Bold carbonation unlocks a porous, off-white froth that grows four fingers tall. Retention is long. Citrusy scent. I'm picking especially grapefruit juice and peel plus some lemon pith. There's also somewhat hefty closed element in the scent as if intensive wheat malt in the background. The tongue receives rather closed flavors, citruses such as grapefruit and lemon, and more of their pith and peel than pulp. And indeed, I recognize a wheaty skeleton. Overall, a bit lackluster. The body is thin. The finish is rushed, citrusy components, the few ones, just melt away from the reach of my tastebuds. The mouthfeel is thin to light, moderately crisp, dry and drying. It's pithy rather than juicy. Nothing really to write home about.
