Turbid, ruby beer with restrained carbonation creates a white, subdued head that falls short of half s finger. Soon the top is adorned by a gossamer lace ring only. Blackberry juice is sour in the air. This is spontaneous fermented but I don't receive any wild yeast. Or not at least what I know from the sphere of Lambics. Still not bad of course. The palate offers ample blackberry juice and mash. Maybe also remote cranberry. Wheat supports bravely. Still, not really Lambicky despite spontaneous fermentation. Rather a Wild Ale. But lovely! The body clocks light. The finish is sour fruity, especially blackberry of course. Wheaty backbone. Long duration. I start liking this more and more. The mouthfeel is light, tart, puckering, juicy and rich in berries. Nothing funky though.
