Subtlety. That's what makes Avalanche amber ale such a treat. We blend pale and caramel malts – and just a kiss of bittering hops – to create a refreshing-but-flavorful, any-time beer. Aromas of pale grains, a semi-sweet middle and a clean-as-Colorado-snow finish make this our best-selling beer.

This is malty that has a toffee, slightly nutty and a bit of a toasted grainy taste to it. Has a nice flavor profile. It’s a little on the weak side overall. Kind of session-able. I know I’ve had this before. I seem to remember it tasting better but I think this is from the beginnings of the craft revolution. As I finish it still tastes good tho.

Brought it home last Saturday night so I believe the carbonation has probably dropped off slightly. Even so, very tasty. Their description is spot on so I won't bother with mine. Side note: the 'Pops' on the glass is a nod to what my grandchildren call me. Glass compliments of my daughter.
