Very pale, only a slight hue and a lively carbonation. Sharp lemon and white beer aroma. It's nice to mix things up with your drinking tendencies, like for me NEIPAs are my fave but it's good to throw in a gose, a stout or in this case a Saison. Sour initial sip which becomes mild for your second and each sip after. Farmhouse wheaty end in a very fast finish that keeps this brew very clean and crisp. It's easier to drink than an actual sour or a gose with its saltiness that could put people off. That said, a Saison isn't for everyone. Gentle fizz in the mouth and very light body. The mixed fermentation producing lemon juice flavour and savoury hay like taste from wheat/barley/oats makes for a pleasant palette cleanser. Having one of these isn't going to prevent you having another nor something else after. It's like a beer equivalent or sorbet. But as it is so simple it's not going to blow you away and get you addicted to Saison. Well, I guess there are people who love style more than IPAs and such, but for me it couldn't ever stand up against them. Have a Saison with a ploughman's... not that I have or will haha, but that is the image or serving suggestion!
