Nachdem sich das Auge am dunkelorangem Anblick erfreut hat, bekommt die Nase eine heftige Mischung aus Bockbier und fruchtigen Aprikosen und Quitten ab. Da weiß man sofort, man hat ein echtes Imperial IPA im Glas. Fettes Mundgefühl, die komplexe Mischung aus hohem Alkoholgehalt (9,2%) und kräftiger Frucht klebt langanhaltend am Gaumen. Etwas weniger Alkohol hätte dem IPA nicht geschadet, so wird die Fruchtigkeit etwas erschlagen. Auch im Abgang hat man noch ne ganze Weile was von der Wuchtigkeit des Bieres. Insgesamt ein ziemliches Brett von IPA, das man aber nicht gegen Durst trinken sollte.

The 2nd beer in BrewDog and friends pack, As I expected though, a bit too much alcohol for my liking, smooth considering though, I love the bitterness that comes through, I nice change from what I’m used to, if It wasn’t for it being too strong, I’d have it again.
