Tuhti kookoksen tuoksu jyrää muut nyanssit kohtuullisen hyvin pimentoon, vanilja pyristelee hieman mukana. Maku on hieman tasapainoisempi. Kookos määrittelee päälinjan paahteisuuden kanssa, kahvi ja vanilja leijailee siivellä. Jälkimaun puolella suklaa ja pähkinäisyyskin alkaa löytyä. Vähä happoinen, loivasti humaloitu. Makeus yrittää liimata huulia, olematta kuitenkaan siirappinen.

Bought this in the height of summer from the brewery’s own bar in Rīga. Got it home and put it in the fridge until a cold winter’s night. Today seems as good as any! My first impressions were, I need to look into which aromatic Belgian malts they’ve used because I could use me some in my next Homebrew! This is bloody gorgeous ! Vanilla is there, as is coffee. There’s a mellow bitterness and a hint of coconut coming through too. Layers of chocolate, both dark and milk, absolutely dominates this beer in such a good way. It ain’t sweet, it’s just straight up malty goodness. I’ll be staying just around the corner from here over Christmas so I’ll definitely be giving them another visit
