Musta olut. Parin sormen levyinen samettinen beige vaahto. Tuoksu maltainen, lakritsinen, bourboninen. Maku makea, pehmeä, bourboninen. Lakritsaa, kevyesti paahteisuutta. Jälkimaussa ripaus kuivaa tammisuutta, bourbon maistuu selvemmin ja kuivempana, savuisuutta. Pohjalla oleva imperial stouthan on sangen mainio. Nyt tähän on saatu tynnyristä hienosti makua mukaan. Bourboni maistuu alusta loppuun. On makeampaa ja kuivempaa vivahdetta. Maistuu ja on esillä mutta ei jyrää tai dominoi. Parasta ennen 6/24. Oliskohan tämä sitten kohta 2 vuotta ehtinyt pyöristyä..?

Sunday nightcap is the 3️⃣rd beer of the Kråkö Bryggeri four-pack of Imperial Stouts. This beauty has absorbed notes of Bourbon barrel. The beer wears an opaque, jet black gown. Looks very Gothic. Introvert carbonation produces a cappuccino-colored, velvety head that falls short of one finger. Yet, the retention is lengthy and maintains a cute lace ring and gossamer haze on the top. Dark chocolate, cacao nibs and a nuance of Bourbon linger nicely in the fragrance. Distant licorice, coffee, even a suggestion of rye bread, vanilla and faint toffee can also be spotted among the components. The same leading powers dominate the palate: Bourbon, dark chocolate and cacao nibs. Bourbon is number one this time. Licorice is somewhat bigger on the tongue than nose. Barrel is obvious unlike on the Port version. Bourbon seems to release its flavors fairly easily compared to portwine. The body is full. Or at least that's how I experience this. Interesting. The finish intensifies the Bourbonic side even more and gains a roasted vector in it. Appeals to my senses beautifully. 🖤🖤 I also appreciate the lack of taste of alcohol. On the other hand, this is not warming either. 'Long' is the description of the tail. The mouthfeel is full, barrel aged, intense, medium-deep and slightly tangy. Too young maybe?

Tasapainoinen, paahteinen ja kuivemman puoleinen imperial stout, josta löytyy täyteläisyyttä, kahvia, suklaata ja salmiakkia. Bourbon tynnyröinti tuo sopivasti vaniljaa, toffeeta ja tammea. Erinomainen.
