Tastes like coffee. Wouldn’t buy again. Was a little heavy but not terrible.

Christmas Eve dark beer fest. I love family beer fests. Huge, very thick head. Aroma has a hint of vanilla. Color is a very dark red. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Vanilla is predominant up front with coffee showing up late in the bittersweet finish. Mild overall so able to enjoy several without being overwhelmed by intense flavor. Can have this with a meal unlike the strong late night brews I love.

Heavy vanilla taste. Could be good depends on your taste.

Looking to tread the dark side without the heaviness associated with porters and stouts? Give this one a try. Hints of vanilla aroma are followed up with a slightly sweet vanilla taste that isnt overpowering. Perfect beer to thaw out after a cold wintry day.

Has medium to strong vanilla taste right off the bat. Light chocolate with light roasted malts. Overall the vanilla is most dominant. It is actually not heavy and would say an easy drinker - one you could have quite a few w/o it filling you up. One of the better Leinenkugel's I've had but still just a 3.5
