Maltainen, kuparinruskea pohjahiivaolut. Alkuvehvä eli speltti tuo oluelle suutuntumaa ja pyöreyttä. Aromihumalapuolella Cascade on pääroolissa.

Tosi makee väri, se antoi lupauksen paremmasta, mitä tölkistä tuli. Katkeruutta oli odotuksia enemmän, mikä tosin joskus on paikallaan. Nyt ei hirmusti natsannut.

Utuinen, kuparinruskea olut. Reilu, kellertävä vaahto. Maltainen, havuinen, mausteinen. Jälkimakua hallitsee katkeroisuus ja hienoinen banaaniaromi. Vähän liikaa kaikkea ja punainen lanka kadoksissa.

Vaahtoava. Tumma kuparinvärinen. Hieman karvautta, mitä en pidä pahana asiana tässä. Tuoksu metallinen mutta maku ei onneksi. Aika pehmeä ja tummasävyinen. Jäkimaku on silti miellyttävän mieto. Hyvä on kokonaisuus!

Meal accompaniment amidst renovation work. Pours limpid copper. Carbonation is extrovert, and a creamy, fluffy head balloons two fingers thick. Retention is really long. A dense moussy lacing collapses gradually downward and retreats to the sides. The rim is messed with lace wrappings. Powerful grainy malt, multigrain bread and a hoppy note constitute the fragrance. The scent gives also a bit of cereal. The palate offers ample soft grainy malt. The real thing! The bready note is distant on the tongue. The hoppy segment portrays some dry grass. Basic old-school stuff — these are not too common nowadays. Or maybe I just shop different things? The body is medium. The finish is still strong with the malt and hop cocktail. The aftertaste fails to find any lyrics with the word "spelt". Oh gee. The mouthfeel is medium, rather intense, a tad crisp and old-school. It's also dry and drying as well as somewhat frothy. No gimmicks! Serves the purpose now.
