Every mouthful delivered a different flavour combo. I’m about to down play the beer and write something negative but it’s not at all, it’s a great beer. Cherry and blueberry don’t come through in every mouthful but the chocolate does. The lactose is a junior parter in all this but it’s contribution shouldn’t be underestimated. Sipping this beer over a number of hours it definitely gets better, flavours become more rounder, a delicate jammy fruitiness comes through, yet it’s stays so silky smooth.
