Chocolate and caramel notes from roasted malt collide with creamy, nutty flavor of peanut butter, creating a luxurious combination on the palate. Subtle sweetness, medium body and creamy mouthfeel give way to a smooth finish, providing a liquid dessert sensation for the senses.

Started with a very small head on this Porter, plenty of effervescence. Sweet peanut butter aroma. Very dark color but clear, looks like a cola. Texture has a soft quality but not heavy or creamy, soft but at the same time crisp. The peanut flavor does not taste like peanut butter to me. It's more of a type of peanut that you would get in a can. Deep roasted raw salted peanuts. In the middle and finish there's notes of dark bitter cocoa.
The company describes this as "a liquid dessert". I disagree. For me, dessert beers are sweet, heavy, with an abundance of flavor. Usually come with a higher alcohol content than 6.1%. To compare this with powerful dessert stouts would be unfair. This is a very good porter but it is a porter. Lighter and crisper than a desert beer.
