Expect the unexpected. The fierce bite of roasted malt meets the gnarly, tropical bitterness of new world hops to offer a balanced, complex and refreshing Black IPA with bags of flavour.
Black malt, chocolate malt and flaked oats join Maris Otter pale malt to add roasted and chocolate notes, giving the beer an intense dark appearance. Masses of Cascade, Columbus, Chinook and Citra hops create woody pine, biting citrus and bright tropical flavours.

Great tasting black ale brewed by Black Sheep Brewery in Yorkshire. 5% in a 500ml bottle. A nice malty, hoppy, bitter and citrus combination in a smooth tasting ale đź‘Ť

Perfectly fine beer malty and smoky tones with some background fruit. As we head down a darker beer route I always struggle and it’s not so much my glass of beer.

Roasted malts and citrus hops in this dark IPA style beer, brewed in Masham in North Yorkshire, England. A nice distinct flavour, 5% in a 500 ml bottle

It pours black in colour with a beige coloured head. Aroma is of roasted malts. Flavour is of roasted malts with a hoppy finish. It's not too heavy for a Black IPA.
