Very good black ipa very much like Thornbridge raven

Good God, I deserve this. Another quick stop at The Piccadilly Tap on the way back from Manchester. It's been a busy few days after Easter and I'm pretty sure any beer would taste good at this point. Served as two thirds of a pint, this is a deep nut brown beer with a Guinness like head. It's bitter, with roasted coffee notes and a sharp finish. Not sure it has the hop punch of a genuine IPA, but it's rich, tasty and right now, bang on.

Dark and mysterious. Strong hoppy and nutty flavours.
