Honey amber coloured brew with is with lots of head after a normal pour but I'm sure it will disappear. On the nose is sweet mango and pineapple, zesty satsuma, passion fruit, fresh pine and bubblegum. In the mouth the alcohol hits straight away unfortunately but I'm sure the flavours with progress as it breathes. It feeling quite thick and soft. Pine and alcohol dominate but over time the sweet mango and pineapple come through, with the sharper passionfruit and zest from the Citra. Nelson, Mosaic and Nelson also grace this beer. Nelson is surprising as I'm not getting the usual white grape and gooseberry really. The Veil are very American in that pine is strong. They also love making a DIPA! I've had several now. They're always hefty and this one at 8.8% ABV is no exception, also with hefty hops despite the alcohol taste. The softness is something akin to Polly's over here, though not quite a silky. And yeh the flavour of juice really does develop over time. It's not easy to drink, hefty all the way but it's quality that's for sure.

Peli-ilta käyntiin vähän myöhemmin. Pitkästä aikaa The Veiliä. ULKOASULTAAN olut on sameaa hedelmämehunkeltaista ja siihen nousee valkoinen vaahto. TUOKSU on täyteläisen sekahedelmämehuinen mangoa, passionhedelmää, mandariinia. MAKU on täyteläisen hedelmäinen. Mangoa, passionhedelmää, nektariinia, greippiä ja jälkimaussa kevyttä havuisuutta. SUUTUNTUMA on keskitäyteläinen+ ja pehmeän poreileva. Oikein raikas ja tasapainoinen DIPA.

Kypsän hedelmäinen, tässä on jo jotain trooppista. On kyllä hyvä.

Tuoksussa aika kypsiä trooppisia hedelmiä. Maussa myös hedelmät ovat aika kypsän puoleisia. Saisi olla enemmän raikkautta tässä, mutta onhan tämä ryhdikäs, pehmeä ja ihan miellyttävä.
