Very pale with a slight haze and a gentle fruity nose that makes you think of spring or summer. Light and soft mouthfeel with an equally light body. It's is hop forward but a long way from heavy. To be critical, it is a little bit too nothingy and washed out but perhaps that is just compared to a bigger pale or IPA. Subdued amounts of pineapple and grapefruit flavours with a lemony citrus aftertaste and something I can't put my finger on. I get the sense this is actually a bit of a resinous hops beer which lifts it out of bland territory, if only it had more. Easy going, easy drinking. Can't help that fixer upper is referring to lack of direction and content with this beer. Still, not bad.
