Depth Perception Imperial IPA begins with a series of complex malts far off in the distance. The use of three distinct bittering hops brings this beer more into focus, while the three varietals of dry hops get you an up-close-and-personal view of this three-dimensional IPA.

I really enjoy imperial ipas like this one. Tropical notes on the front with a malty mid palate. Bitterness on the finish but not overly so. Well balanced

Mr X convinced me to have this tonight. Enjoying hockey replays with Wayne Gretzky commentating. Doesn't get any better than that.
Found this locally as a 19.2 oz tallboy. Very high and very frothy head. Must be patient. Citrusy aroma, nothing distinctive. Clear orange color. Now this flavor is definitely hoppy. A cocktail of bitter citrus with only a shade of grapefruit to possibly identify. Citrus hops dominate the flavor until the finish when it trails off some small residue of sweet caramel Amber malt.
My ignorant palette says this is definitely a West Coast hoppy brew. Not my favorite. I prefer the more mellow, New England IPAs. I'm going to power through this 19.2 oz culinary let-down because it's Terrapin, and hope that I can develop an appreciation for my son's love of these super bitter West Coast IPAs. ( I won't).

Happy Friday. This has a medium caramel malt. Has some light+ slightly juicy and citrusy hops with light pine.
It’s a little backwards built. I expect a WC style to be more hoppy but not quite the case here. Finishes a bit on the sweet side.
Overall has enough of a hoppy presence to keep you happy but leans more to the malty and sweet side
