We took some time to look at the chemical make-up of Birmingham's soft water (because we know how to party) and noticed the similarity with the water from Pilsen, the home of Czech lagers. The two are almost identical meaning that, using pure Birmingham water, we're able to produce a true Czech-style pilsner with it's roots squarely in our city. Birmingham Pilsner has a light caramel-colour with a tight, thick white head and a biscuity malt character. A robust bitterness balances the malt sweetness, but finishes abruptly for a smooth, refreshing finish that leaves you reaching for another sip.
