Check out a piece of Nashville brewing history! Gerst brewery was the original Nashville brewery, but never recovered after prohibition. We are excited to partner with the Chandler family, owners of the Gerst Haus Restaurant, to bring this beer right back to where it belongs - Nashville, Tennessee.
This is a very clean beer, with mostly German malts and a hint of flate maize, remaining as true as possible to the original Gerst recipe.

Nice high, orange tinted head. Very faint aroma, sweet with notes of honey bread. Color is a combination of yellow along the rim and orange in the middle, moderate haze but no particulates. Smooth and soft mouthfeel. Again, a low sweet bread, Amber malts, a trace of lemon, and only a whisper of bitterness on the back of the tongue during the finish. Very gentle, very smooth, somewhat sweet, and extremely drinkable.
A very nice beer. Not one I may seek out, but I would never turn one down either.
