Beer 4/5. Impenetrable, pitch black beer with a thick, chocolate-moussy head that climbs up to brave three fingers. Needs to wait a bit of time to get enough liquid in the glass... Retention is extraordinarily long as beautiful lace ornaments adorn the top. Black coffee, rye bread, roasted malt and a sigh of raw cacao powder creep to the my nostrils. That supply gives me something to anticipate on the tongue, too. But... the first and foremost component is different: strong aniseed. Maybe also some fennel. Interesting. The rest of the package is composed of sugared espresso, roasted malt, raw chocolate and cream. Quite innovative! The body is full. Not enormous but full. The finish twists more around bitter black coffee, raw cacao and roasted elements. No sweet espresso, and definitely no anis. Wow! This seems to be versatile. 🖤🖤 The mouthfeel is full, intense, soft, smooth, dry and drying. Yes, all of them. Sounds contradictory but the softness comes first, them the dry part hits the mouth. Offers therefore a bit of complexity. But just a bit.
