Something light. Only 12 %. 🤣 Semihazy, pale amber beer with a soapy, dirty white head that grows maybe half a finger tall. Doesn't look particularly attractive. The scent gives distant citrusy notes only. Even they are faint, and unrecognizable. I can't pick anything else. The taste identity is medium-intense and boozy. I'm getting mandarin, blood orange, mango, even a suggestion of pineapple and cantaloupe. Relatively sweet but the alcoholic, chemical tang disturbs the enjoyment. Maybe this follows the style guidelines but a Belgian Strong Golden Ale made in Belgium is a different thing. This is something else now. The body is light-medium to medium. It's absolutely substandard for 12 %. Well, the BSGAs are never very full-bodied but still... The finish displays sweet malt, sweet lemonade, orange zest and ripe mango, maybe a pinch of apricot, as well. The aftertaste does magical tricks for a while and then gets disappeared. The mouthfeel is heady (oh yeah!), sappy, lip-glueing and substantially alcoholic. Probably in accordance with the style criteria but not convincing to me demanding taste receptors. Still, okayish.
