This is Donna's entry in 2025. A coconut surprise version. Tall fizzing head. Much like a cola a quickly disappears. Smooth texture, starts lightly creamy then slowly becomes modestly dry. The coconut combines well with the sweet whiskey that brings the barrel flavor with it. Toward the middle a Swiss milk chocolate slides in and carries through the finish. I enjoyed this porter, the 9.5% alcohol only warms the throat and I tried but could not find the pecans. Still a very good beer.
