With family in Pearland Texas visiting a new brewery for me, Bakfish Brewing. Nice facility, lots of customers and a very friendly staff. Fourth beer on a flight of four. Served in a small flight sniffer glass. Left almost no head and a very light sweet roasted malt aroma. Deep brown color, traces of red in this slightly hazy brew. Unexpected soft and velvety texture. Has a sweet caramel amber flavor. Mid-range adds a brief note of milk chocolate hiding behind a sweet malt. I have always enjoyed beers with my sweet tooth. This brown ale with this caramel sweetness and soft texture is my favorite beer here. Love it.
