With family in Pearland Texas visiting a new Brewery for me, Bakfish Brewing. Nice facility, lots of customers and a very friendly staff. Third beer on a flight of four. Color is almost opaque brown but has some muddy brown around the edges. Aroma has a sweet earthy deep amber malt fragrance. Thin, crisp and dry. A deep roasted malt, still earthy, a subdued bittersweet body that conveys a basic brown ale. A good brown ale but nothing that differentiates it from all the other browns I've had.
