This brew comes from the mind of our friend Ed: brewer, beer lover, Grateful Dead fan, and eventual zombie. It uses a ridiculous number of malts and American whole-cone hops. Ghost chilis were added both in the kettle and post-fermentation.

Still in Texas with my daughter and son-in-law. This ghost pepper chili Porter actually scary to try. But what the hell, here we go.
Going into the glasses producing an incredible amount of deep tan head. That stuff is really lasting also, not moving at all. Finally moves down then a slight swirl brings it all back. Mild malt aroma. Texture not as heavy as expected, medium consistency. Strong deep roasted lightly sweet coffee malt, a chili pepper burn, and the finish ads some brown sugar, almost to a molasses. The chili 🌶️ burn continues long into the finish.
Good beer that keeps on giving a pepper and sweet molasses long after the last sip. Super powerful for a porter.
