Cognac Barrel French press is our Imperial coffee Porter aged in oak cognac barrels for almost a year. The rich and roasty profile of the base beer is expanded by the addition of coffee from Houston area roasted Java Pura. Barrel aging lends balanced oak flavor alongside notes of fresh grape, toffee, and vanilla. The end result is a complex and decacant beer best enjoyed from a snifter by your fireplace.

Back in Houston with my son-in-law and family enjoying some more unusual and high alcohol beers.
This rare, 2020 Cognac Barrel French Press beer has very low head, almost opaque brown color. Aroma of strong Bourbon Barrel and sweet wine alcohol ( I need to experience cognac fully). Thin texture along with a wine type alcohol, notes of cocoa, followed by a raw natural organic cherry 🍒. Finish continues with a smooth dryness.
Excellent beer. Deserves a recommendation of ever available.
