Interesting to be back to this place. Actually, when I visited this watering hole last time (2017), the place was called "Bir & Fud". However, it's closed permanently, and now there's "L'Elementare". Craft beer still on taps which are fewer though. 🙄 This beer is muddy ruby. A modest frogspawny lace ring appears on the top and floats on the sidelines. Sour cherry is restrained in the air. The scent releases also slightly vinous aromas as well as a good proposal of wild yeast. A bit Lambicky fragrance. Sour cherry is more pronounced in the taste profile. No wild yeast this time. I can also detect faint redcurrant and a hint of oak barrel behind the scene. The body is light. The same sour cherry punch follows to the end. The aftertaste got a wine soaked heart and whisky soaked lips. The mouthfeel is tart, puckering, acidic and slightly barrel aged. The taste is merely remotely vinous whereas the fragrance portrays more such characteristics.

Birra acida, corpo leggero, profumi intensi di ciliegie e frutti rossi. Si poteva fare di meglio
