We brewed a malty, delicious Old Ale with tons of Caramel, Caravienne, mild and oat malts and aged it in the most unique barrels we could find: WhistlePig Rye barrels that were once Bordeaux barrels in a time before.

In Texas with my son-in-law having a unique clown shoes limited edition beer. This one aged in Bordeaux barrels.
Moderate head, dissipates quickly. Deep red color. Aroma of strong wine. Alcohol present. Flavorful wine arrives fast, an alcohol burn, then the rye oak barrel fills the mouth. The finish transforms into a dark malt with faint notes of chocolate and raisins.
Very unique beer with very unusual qualities. Enjoyed it but it's not for everyone.
