ABV 12.5% Brewed with a monstrous amount of malt and combined with aggressive American hops, this beer is powerful and complex and designed to age. Smokiness is subtle but present and blends nicely with the rich, dark flavors.

Roasted malts, chocolate and coffee notes in the aroma. Taste has roasted malts, chocolate and coffee notes, just like the aroma. Age has definitely helped this. I wasn't a huge fan of it the first time I had it, but it's much better now. I'd buy it again, and at least I now know to cellar it for at least 2 years. Almost a 4 star beer, high 3.75/5

Very smoky taste. Roasty coffee notes underneath. Quite hoppy. Maybe a good deal of age will help this. Not a huge fan upon first impression. 3.5/5

En smakrik men lite spretig öl. Inleder med stark mörk choklad, finns smak av katrinplommon(?) Och en skaplig eftersmak med halvdant kaffe. Ett stort plus att den smakar mycket! 3.75
