Ripauksenverran mokkakahvinväristä nopeastilaskevaa pienikuplaista vaahtoa erittäin tummanruskean hiukkasen valoaläpipäästävän oluen yllä joka tuoksuu makean tonkapapuisen kaakaoisen kookoksisen marsipaanisen makealta ja maistuu kuivan paahteisen kahvisen tummansuklaisen hiilisen lämmittävältä, kolme ja puoli bojoo. PE: ei, pullotettu: 07.10.2021.

Opaque, jet black beer looks like crude oil and moves like oil, that is thick and slow. Determined but circumspect carbonation starts creating foam from the bottom up as if nitro induced. The tawny head falls short of one finger and descends fast to zero.
The first element reaching the nose is tonka. No doubt about it, it's overwhelming. Tonka itself is vanilla-like but there's certainly also vanilla as such in the beer. Otherwise, I spot chocolate ganache, cinnamon and a whisper of coconut. Sweet dessert for sure.
The taste profile is really sweet: tonka, vanilla, dark chocolate and cacao nibs complement each other perfectly. Cinnamon is still identifiable whereas coconut decides to go hiding. Furthermore, I can spot brown sugar and nuances of rum barrel. The gustatory side is still moderately less sweet than what the fragrance suggests.
The body is the weak link. I would say it's medium-full at maximum. The ABV of 11 % and this ridiculous load of sugar should definitely give a bigger trunk. The finish revolves around dark chocolate, tonka, vanilla and, for the first time, both a coffeeish note and a bit of licorice. The end comes quickly. Prematurely, someone would say...
The mouthfeel is sappy, thick and desserty as well as lip-glueing. It's soft and smooth but lacks layers and deepness. It's not even warning. Somewhat straightforward.
