Aroma: Citrusy, piney, herbal. Fruity. Taste: Quite citrusy. Very green and earthy. Piney. Apricots. Grapefruit. Bitter! I liked the mosaic version better, as expected.

It’s interesting the differences you get when you drink a fresh beer a few weeks later. I’m not sure if the characteristics of the beer have changed or my palate has suffered but I’m definitely getting lots more from this beer, 3 weeks after originally drinking it. It’s still dry and bitter but the grapefruit is less subtle. It’s still there but shares the stage with pine resin and zesty citrus notes too. Nice thirst quenching beer!

Decent beer, all the hallmarks of a WCIPA are there but it’s a little one dimensional. To have achieved it all with one hop however is highly commendable. I’m getting lots of citrus grapefruit and a dry bitterness but not a lot else.
