That’s a decent stout, very Smokey and the roasted coffee dominates. It’s alright!

Christmas Beer Advent 2020 Day 8 When you pull out a beer brewed by the same brewery that has thus far produced your worst beer of the year (Nutjob - Peanut Butter Pale Ale) I was sceptical about it being any good. It was in fact quite decent and another beer highly appropriate to midweek supping. Aromas of chocolate and coffee give way to flavours of smokey dark chocolate if there is such a thing. It’s very smooth and easy drinking, perfect for a Tuesday night. A nice foamy head sticks around a while and the high carbonation on pouring dissipates quite quickly.
