This is another beer given to me by my son-in-law in Texas. We're going to Duo this one and compare our evaluations. Using my Alabama glass to celebrate Bryce Young winning the Heisman tonight. Wahoo! πŸ† 🏈 🐘 Fairly high head with tons of effervescence. This thing's bubbling like a cola. Only the slightest haze in this blood orange color. Sweet flowery aroma with hints of citrus. Light and crisp texture. The initial response is sour, moderately bitter and more sour. This has an overwhelming flower taste, probably the hibiscus. Not until the finish do I get traces of orange peel and lime peel, just as the can indicates. The problem is the hibiscus and the citrus don't blend. They fight each other where neither can win. There is nothing pleasant with the sour flavor and it does not combine with the citrus bitterness. I could probably finish this tall boy but I actually just don't want to. My son-in-law and I both agree. Rather just let it go and move on to a better brew.
