Semiclear, copper beer with reasonable, sustained carbonation builds a velvety, off-white head that barely reaches half a finger's height. The foamy cap dissolves soon to a thin patchy lacing on top. The nose receives strong bread with a shy grainy twist. I also find a distant nuance of dried apricot and faint yellow sultanas. The palate is weak and watery: the most obvious reason being the low ABV of 2.7 %. The gustatory elements include bags of old leftover bread and a harsh grainy tang. I also get barley malt, oatmeal and a tad Digestives. The body is thin. The beer finishes rapidly with light-bitter coarse bread, some barley malt and earthy oat flour. The mouthfeel is thin, even slightly watery, relatively earthy, a bit coarse and husky as well as somewhat homebrewish. Interesting but not very quaffable.
