HEAD: Two finger tall. Dissepates quickly. GREY’S VIEW Knob Creek Bourbon Barrel Aged Oatmeal Stout w/ Coffee, Vanilla, Hazelnut. Looks like the age has raised some red wine characteristics, suits me. Taste offers also dry hazelnuts, quite convincing amount of vanilla which blends in with coffee nicely making the mocha effect strong. Knob Creek is oaky, dryish, mineral stony and raising the level of vanilla. I don’t know where I get that Red Wine part, but its hovering there on top of this all the time. Mouthfeel is light, slightly sticky sugary uet quite nicely textured with grains. OTHER NOTES: Skilled piece. Knob Creek has been fully blended to the grainy, vanilla and other promised flavours.
