This is a beer made in honor of Jaromír Jágr when he played with the Flyers. It’s a Czech Pilsner of course. Has some fairly strong floral and herbal hops. Has some medium sweet crackery malt that seems to have a touch of toffee - probably where the sweetness comes from. Overall it’s a bit of a flavor bomb for a Czech pils. Not so clean and crisp, as I expected. Quite hoppy with a good amount of malt. Not quite balanced but I’m digging the taste. Does have a touch of a funky aftertaste tho. The whole thing just lingers in the mouth. Figured I’d break out since I’m watching my Flyers hockey (and football). Time for some Warsteiner now.
