Murky, deep burgundy beer with reserved carbonation unleashes a white-pinkish lace ring that doesn't even spread entirely on the surface. However, a gossamer ring still wafts on the top for long. Sour cherry punches arrogantly against my tastebuds. In addition, I can find a bit of lingonberry mash and even a suggestion of lingonberry jam in the scent. Sour cherry whirls with wheat malt on the tongue. Cranberry substitutes for lingonberry but is really restrained. Simple as a whole. The body is light, which is not up to the level of 7 %. The finish pours loads of sour cherry, so nothing changes. The aftertaste pits cherries for such a long time that is fingers are sore. The mouthfeel is light, tart, puckering and faintly acidic. On one hand, the taste profile is intense, on the other, it's flat and powerless. Simple for sure. I've learned to know À Tue-Tête! especially for its Sour Ales but this is just average at best.
