Flight 3/4.
Hazy, deep yellow beer with a moderate lace ring only. Soon it's just a memory.
Pineapple and lemon feature on the air, in very modest volumes though. Wellnigh nothing. What's wrong with tonight's beer scents? Wrong choices? I wouldn't have necessarily chosen these beers but I seem to have tasted many tap beers here. I wonder why... 😅
Indeed, it's pineapple that doesn't want to leave my tastebuds alone. Grapefruit peel, lemon pith, strongly grassy hops and a drop of resin accompany the main ingredient. The body is light. The ABV should merit more... Well, it is what it is. Can't help. The finish gears in a more piney direction with dry hops reminding constantly of themselves.
The mouthfeel is light, crisp, moderately piney, zesty and refreshing. Old-school for sure.
