Se ois sahtihommia!
Savuinen ja 🍌 löytyy mausta myös, silti suht kuiva ettei mene liian makean puolelle 👌 Olarilta hyvä avaus tähänkin genreen 👍

0,7 pullo. Aika tumma savuinen sahti. Ihan hyvän makuinen. Ehkä hieman turhan makea.

Ruskeaa, kuraisen väristä juomaa. Ei juuri vaahtoa.
Tuoksussa banaania, kevyesti savuisuutta.
Maussa siirappista makeutta, limppumaista mallasta. Jälkimausta löytyy aavistus savua ja banaanimaista makeaa hedelmäisyyttä.

Happy International Stout Day! 🖤 I don't have a Stout but I'll toast for today with a fresh commercial Sahti by Olarin Panimo. 🍺
The Sahti looks incredibly turbid. The color is like brown, sludgy. I wonder if this is yet ready... Well, the label recommends to enjoy within three days but not when it was growlered. There's a bit of carbonation, which is not exactly what a Sahti normally contains. A thin cappuccino-colored head emerges on the top but dissipates hastily to the sidelines.
The scent is malty and astonishingly bready. As if barley flour with a tang of yeast. I can also pick some juniper berry. A distant twist of sewer unfortunately enters the picture. A tad unattractive.
The taste is soft and a bit edgy at the same time: I can pick a creamy blend of barley flour, wort, lofty yeast, a good amount of juniper berry and a pinch of bread on the tastebuds. Additionally, I can detect moderate licorice among the gustatory components. The taste profile confirms my supposition that this seems to be yet unfinished.
The body is full. That's nice! The finish gives more licorice than the actual taste but continues floury and worty. The aftertaste is looking for an urban edition of an ancient farmhouse ale but finds a messy graffiti on a subway car.
The mouthfeel is soft, velvety, creamy and smooth as well as simultaneously displays a modest edgy side. It's a bit worty and turbid as if unfinished. On one hand, this is unique, but on the other, I'd rather enjoy Sahtis well done and not rare.
