10/24 another beer of countdown to Christmas πŸ––πŸŽ…πŸΊ little bit late because this BEER is from couple days ago πŸ˜₯ I've been busy, but... I will make another 3 reviews very quick lol. Absolutely nice beer from YORK ( I LOVE this town by the way ). I got this beer from my good friend...thank you πŸ€— * APPEARANCE: stunning dark amber colour with very small head. I love when the colour is shiny just increasing your appetite πŸ˜‹ * AROMA: very pleasant aroma with lovely hoppy and fruity notes. * TASTE: beautiful flavour of 5 hops - Amarillo, Cascade, Columbus, Simcoe and my favourite Citra πŸ––πŸ˜πŸΊ what an amazing bomb! Great Hoppy notes mixing with tropical fruits and little bit of kick from alcohol. * MOUTHFEEL: medium body with right carbonation. Aftertaste definitely zesty with nice bitterness and tropical fruits notes. * OVERALL: lovely beer especially because that was made from 5 hops. Just right level of alcohol 6 5%. Good story of the name "Legion IX" πŸ€” definitely I want to another one...

Pretty nice IPA from a cracking little brewery in York. Picked it up whilst visiting

It’s growing on me this one. Went nicely with the pork and crackling. Still unsure about the after taste though.

It's kind of something and nothing I'm afraid. I did enjoy... but not massively memorable. Maybe I need to try again

Tried some York Brewery before, thought I’d give this a go. It’s alright, actually quite nice to start, but with a slightly earthy, malty taste to finish. Almost like a good blue cheese, in fact this would probably go well with strong cheeses.
