Schwarzbier is one of the longest-standing beer styles in continental Europe, its roots being traced back to the medieval period. A classic dark lager, it balances rich, roasty flavours of coffee and chocolate with a dry finish and restrained hop bitterness.

Aroma: It smells really malty, not roasty though. Hints of caramel and maybe a tiny bit of dark dried fruits.
Taste: There’s a tiny amount of roasted malts coming through. Easy drinking? Yes!Coffee? No. Chocolate? No. Light, not sweet.
A beer for conversations and not for pleusure.

Tasty schwarzbier - thoroughly enjoyable drinking. Tastes like you can session it. Smooth and roasted.
