A nice heavy beer for the fall time, not too strong on the pumpkin flavor, just enough to add a nice touch

Having a good beer on Duo with my son-in-law while watching the Peach Bowl between Georgia and Ohio State. Damn what a game.
Nice, thick brown head. Aroma has cocoa and spices. Flavor first has a dry cocoa followed quickly by spices with nutmeg. Behind it comes a robust dark coffee and notes of pumpkin. Soft texture and smooth throughout. Unique and how this beer was able to combine chocolate and pumpkin and coffee and spices and somehow it works. As the beer warms and moves into the finish, the dry cocoa becomes more mellow, turns into a milk chocolate while the coffee also smooths out. The 7% alcohol never presented itself. Clown Shoes knows how to make a stout.

Still in Houston with family trying more pumpkin stouts.
Head is moderately high with small bubbles. Seems to be going down. Pours to a dark brown opaque color. Dry texture. Taste brings light pumpkin, strong semisweet dark chocolate, and quickly followed by strong roast coffee. Finish turns into day old coffee, soft pumpkin with dry bitterness. Shows some alcohol that's been missing from the start.
Good but did not teach my expectations.
