Bottle-500ml. Ok. Rich fruitiness. Not really pleasant or unpleasant, but just ok. This was the first time drank and it was in January 2023.

Well, last year (2021) this didn't impress. Thin, not porter-ish and not Christmassy is what I thought. This year seems to be somewhat improved. Despite finding Eagle Brewery's beers a bit bland, this one has definitely got better this year. It smells Christmassy - figgy pudding- esque and taste-wise, it has real depth of character. Slightly coffee, slightly chocolate, a bit Christmas cakey actually. A merry Christmas ale. Much better Eagle Brewery, I must have been good this year!

Mince Pie in a glass. Strong aroma and flavour of dark fruits and plums. Would make a good dessert beer or left out for Santa on Christmas Eve.

There's a lot of flavours going on here. Definitely a bit of a butterfly after taste, like vanilla. Complex flavours in this one. Don't think I could drink more then one though.
