Ipa joka hämärästi maistuu belgiltä. Aika jännä cccombo. Iha hyvä.

Ipa nimessä, mutta jo tuoksu tekee selväksi että belgiale on kyseessä. Aika yrttinen tuoksu. Lempeät hiilihapot tässä. Maussa vehnää, hiivaa, ananasta, sitruunaa ja yrttejä.

6kk pullotuksesta sekä päiväykseen. Kolmen sormen isokuplainen höttöinen valkea vaahto. Utuinen kultainen ipa. Tuoksu on sitruksinen ja hienoisen greippinen, belgiesterinen ja kevyen hiivainen, makean hedelmäinen (aprikoosia, persikkaa ja ananasta), appelsiininkuorinen, korianterisen mausteinen, kevyen hiivainen, makean paahtoleipäinen sekä vehnämaltainen. Maku on kuivattavan sitruksinen sekä happaman greippimehuinen, makean trooppisen hedelmäinen (aprikoosia, persikkaa ja ananasta), belgihiivainen, korianterinen, appelsiininkuorinen, yrttinen, makean vehnäinen ja ohramaltainen. Katkeroa kepeästi ja kuivattaen. Jälkimaku on happaman sitruksisen hedelmäinen ja kevyen maukkaan maltainen. Suutuntuma on kuohkean hiilihappoinen keskitäyteläisen pehmeällä rungolla. Nätti ipan ja belgioluen yhdistelmä. Kuivahko kokonaisuus. Ei kuitenkaan tarjoa ihmeitä. Ehkä 3,75.

Samea, meripihkan värinen olut ohuella vaahdolla. Tuoksussa on hedelmäisyyttä ja sitrusta. Olut on tasapainoinen, raikas, kuiva ja hapokas. Mausta löytyy hedelmäisyyttä, sitrusta, greippiä ja katkeroa. Kaikin puolin hyvä ja tasapainoinen ipa.

I'm confused and mildly discombobulated after staying up all night to watch the election results come in. Especially having fallen asleep multiple times. In order to recalibrate I retired to the local - where we piled through a few pints of Tiley's Pale Ale, a few cans of Moor's Imperial Entanglement and (I think) some Wiper and True IPA's. Before leaving I bagged a couple of bottles - one of which is this lovely stuff. Apologies for reviewing it so recently before - but I need something to remember tonight actually happened. Full in the mouth with loads of froth and bubbles - it's a happy collision of Belgian beer and IPA in the best possible way. Fruity and strong with a tart finish. Think I have another in the fridge.....

As you can see by the clock it's time for the last beer. I've just listened to the entire Nirvana Unplugged album - it's always as good as you remember. It's possible I've frazzled my tastebuds tonight. However, this is another decent beer. It definitely has heft and body as the head overflowed the glass - or maybe that was just me. It has a dark golden hazy hue and plenty of legs. So much fizz and froth...! Traditional Belgian flavours smashed into new world IPA. A lovely, full, fruity flavour with a good, tart finish. Goodnight all....
