Sa légèreté est étonnante pour une bière de cette catégorie.

My souvenir from Brussels a while ago. Big bottle of 0.75 liters with 9.5 % will do for tonight. The beer wears a semimisty, pale gold dress. The crown is cloud-white velvety and grows easily two fingers tall. Retention is astonishingly long as a dense lacing adorns the surface almost forever. The retreating foam messes the rim of the glass seriously. The scent is, first and foremost, biscuity. The fruity fragment is composed of orange peel, a suggestion of dried apricot and truly faint fermented banana. I was a bit scared that I might come across with candi sugar but I was wrong – and I'm glad about it. Instead, I'm picking a modest grassy hoppy hint that balances the olfactory supply nicely. The taste profile is very soft and smooth: the gustatory universe blinks orange peel, small amounts of dried mango and dried apricot, wheat biscuit and a wisp of white sugar. The hoppy vibe is fairly oppressed, slightly grassy and modestly drying. Alcohol is just at the edge to pop up unexpectedly. Overall, nice and very drinkable. The body is medium to medium-full. The finish lifts the grassy hoppy element higher and invites a marginally tangy characteristic to the cocktail. Otherwise, I can't depict differences between the actual taste and the end. The aftertaste lingers long in the mouth. The mouthfeel is medium-full, soft, smooth and remotely alcoholic. The weakest link is the ample effervescence that steals time until the beer is gulpable. Still enjoyable. NOTE: The barcode leads to "Achelse Kluis".

Toisen kerran maistossa.
