Wieß pronounced “VEES” is a recreation of an almost forgotten style of beer. Before filtration was implemented in Cologne Germany they would enjoy a cloudy unfiltered version of their crisp, refreshing Kolsch. This easy drinking German Style Ale is approachable to the light beer drinker while maintaining a full round flavor. Light bready malt character and low hop bitterness combine with a subtle sweet contribution from a traditional Kolsch yeast strain.
