Cyprus Grape Ale (golden) 9 % vol. In collaboration with Tsiakkas winery we are going beyond the normal boundaries of the versatile indigenous variety of Cyprus, Xynisteri. A combination of the wild yeast from the variety with the brewers yeast create a unique grape ale. A full body grape ale with lingering aromas of citrus and white flowers and a lasting aftertaste.

Yksi spessu vielä, paikallista tämäkin. 0,33l pullo Tekuun kaadettuna. 2031 on parasta ennen päiväys. Kirkas, meripihkan värinen olut. Luonnonvalkoinen vaahto. Tuoksussa mukavasti tallia, hapokkuutta ja rypäleitä. Voimakkaat hiilihapot. Suutuntuma on mehukas ja tahmea. Makea rypälelikööri täyttää suun ensihörpyllä, happaman tallinen hiivaisuus seuraa heti perästä. Runsaasti heinää ja kuivaa ruohoa. Imelää ja rahtusen viinaista rypäleisyyttä. Lempeä tallinen happamuus ja rypäleinen makeus loppumaussa. Kyproksen paras tähän mennessä. Ylivoimaisesti.

Im Antrunk dachte ich direkt "hat sowohl vom Gefühl im Mund, als auch vom Geschmack was von Saft" (na klar, Gerstensaft 🙃). Und siehe da, der Blick auf die Flasche verrät Traubensaft. Jetzt könnte man direkt auf ein gepanschtes Bier schließen. Aber dem ist nicht so. Sehr sehr gute Geschmackskombination. Tolle Brau-Idee. Finde ich super. Auch der Biergeschmack ist mit dabei, könnte noch einen Hauch kräftiger sein. Gelungene Kooperation!
