While in Texas with family, I am having the third of the Teddy Bear Kisses series from Upland Brewing. Each of the other two were outstanding, hope this one is as good. Typical dark brown color, opaque, short creamy head dissipating quickly. Texture is very creamy, heavy, and very flavorful. Flavor brings the bourbon and adds a strong roasted hazelnut. Alcohol burn in the throat and the belly adds an Imperial quality to the beer. Very smooth transition into a finish that is bourbon dominated, alcohol is present, and a roasted chard chocolate malt. Upland Brewing with their Teddy Bear Kisses series is far beyond my expectations. Basic brew with their variations have brought a lot of very pleasant experiences with their beers. Look forward to them having any more such variations.
