Te Tau Ihu translates as ‘the top of the South Island’. The region is home to most of New Zealand’s hop growing, where the climate and soil inspire hops that are distinctive from their northern hemisphere cousins.

Darker than I thought it would be, but has rich tropical fruit flavours with a light peppery finish.
