Flight 2/4 is marginally darker, like deep gold. Transparent, for sure. The head is really impotent and melts hastily away.
Just when I was dreaming of diacetyl, here it comes: diacetyl and butter in the air. Yes! Pale malt in the background. The flavor constellation contains pale malt, faint bread, remote diacetyl, dried lemon peel, a bit of grapefruit and dry-grassy hops.
The body is light minus. Finishes with drying pale malt where the diacetylic reflection fades away.
The mouthfeel is light, dry, drying, a tad crisp and butyric. I like what many could consider an off-flavor here.
